Perfect for underneath the legs on my sofa.

Can not believe 3M will put out a product that last a week. Bought them for 5 bar stools. At in Oakdale Minn. The felt stayed on , but the cap did not. Now trying super glue to keep cap on. Spent a lot of money for what we thought was a better product!

Easy to apply to legs on a couch. Only used on back legs.

Used as pad on bottom of metal Stanley mug.

We put these on two chairs and the next day the rubber part came off from all of the legs. The adhesive stayed on the legs but the rubber just separated and fell off leaving the part with the adhesive still on the legs. So it wasn’t a problem with the legs not allowing the adhesive to adhere to the wood — it was a defect with the rubber part not staying on. Pretty disappointed with wasting money on them!

The glue needs to be stronger. They all came off the recliner chair legs within two days.

I placed each one on to the antivibration discs to help with traction, worked perfectly.

I purchased a 4-pack of these for the bottom of my couch legs to keep them from slipping on the hardwood floor as people sat down. Three of four of them ripped the adhesive layer from the layer with gripping dots right after I applied them, as I was lifting the other legs to apply! They are completely useless.

I installed a set of four of these pads on the feet of a recliner chair today and am totally dissatisfied. I cleaned the feet of the recliner with rubbing alcohol, per than manufacturer’s instructions, dried thoroughly, then installed the pads. The adhesive stuck very firmly to the recliner feet, however the adhesive layer joining the adhesive pad to the gripper pad failed within only a few minutes. I has to go back and get a 2nd set to replace the 2 which failed. I’m hopeful, but not confident, that these will work. I’ll look for a different product the next time I need

The construction of these is a piece of foam that sticks to the furniture leg, with the rubber foot stuck onto the foam pad. After installing and righting the piece of furniture, the rubber was already completely separating from the foam. If these were constructed without the useless foam layer, they might actually work. The glue seemed to hold the foam to the furniture leg just fine.

Was just what I was looking for.

size right, anti move good, didn’t like the adhesive much as unsure if it will hold up.

I received the heavy duty gripping pads as a free sample from 3M. At first I wasn’t sure where I wanted to use them but last week when I sat down to rock my grandson in the glider rocker I knew I had found the perfect place to use them. Before using the lads the rocker would slide across the hardwood floor. Now it is stationary and I don’t have to worry about repositioning it in the room after ticking a few minutes. I put some pads under the matching glider footstool and it worked like a charm. I would definitely recommend this product.

Looked like just what I needed to keep the sofa in place on the hardwood floor and I was happy to see that it was a Scotch brand product. It was a very poor choice.
After applying the pads to the feet of the sofa, I lifted one end and pivoted on the opposite feet to square it up against the wall – about 1/2″ of movement. The pads instantly fell apart, leaving a gummy, rubbery, almost tar-like substance on the hardwood floor, which required acetone to remove. The remaining pieces of the pads had to be scraped from the feet of the sofa, as the adhesive was leaving a gooey trail on the floor. Only one of the pads survived.
I can’t help but wonder how this product slipped past 3M’s quality control. Needless to say, I’ll be shopping for a different brand tomorrow.

Easily adhered to bottom of leg and has kept the chair from moving on carpet and wood floor. Recliner has not moved at all since the pads were affixed.

Over the years, I’ve tried various products on my collection of bench top power tools to prevent them “wandering” under vibration, with varying degrees of success. When I was offered an opportunity to test a free sample of 3M’s heavy-duty grip pads, I couldn’t possibly click YES any faster than I did. The worst offender in my shop is the wood lathe – it sits upon a smooth, slightly textured metal surface and vibrates like crazy under slightly unbalanced loads. Products I’d tried unsuccessfully in the past either wouldn’t stay stuck to the bottom of the lathe or simply didn’t prevent the lathe from sliding. However, the little rubbery nubs on 3M’s grip pads do indeed grip slick surfaces, while the resiliency of the material also dampens higher frequency vibration to a certain extent, so operation is not quite as noisy either. After several hours of operation, I re-checked the pads and was pleased to see that there was no deformation of the nubs and the pad hadn’t migrated from its mounting location.

I received this product free from 3M to evaluate. I was really looking forward to these gripping pads for my newer dryer. New machines are made so much lighter than the old ones and mine slides all over. I followed all instructions and cleaned like directions advised. The adhesive on these unfortunately wasn’t strong enough. These fell apart on me, as shown in photo. Sorry that they didn’t work out. I believe maybe a rubber cap tip type would work better.

My furniture doesn’t move or slide on our wooden floors when you sit down. I no longer have to keep moving the furniture off the wall. The felt pads are no longer for me. You may or may not have to trim a little for that clean look.

I received a free sample of Scotch Gripping Pads from 3M to try. I immediately put them on my daughter’s nightstand because it always slips and slides on the hardwood floor. I noticed a difference right away. The gripping pads almost created a suction, preventing the nightstand from easily slipping. I can still move the piece of furniture when I need to, but now I don’t have to worry about it moving around. The pads were easy to apply, and they aren’t noticeable on the furniture.

We purchased these anti-skid pads to put on the bottom of a large bamboo cutting board that will sit on the glass cover of a three burner stove in our RV. They were just what we needed to elevate the board sufficiently to protect the glass stove top and to increase the counter space in the RV.

These work good to keep a sofa in place on a hardwood floor.

so frustrated. first, the rubber piece was not taped to the sticker piece well, came off immediately on some. then, couldn’t even put the chair down on the ground all the way before it came off and basically smashed/rubbed off into pieces on my floor. I bought 5 packs of 4, 20 total. all but 4 smashed/melted. DO NOT BUY

I had supper glued them on my outside table seems like they will work.

I received these “Scotch Heavy Duty Gripping Pads” free to use and review. I love them. I am using them on our living room sofa to prevent scratching on my wood floors. If anyone sits too hard onto the sofa, it moves a little. These are designed to keep your furniture in place – they have gripping dots that prevent my sofa from moving and scratching the floor. Easy to apply to the surfaces you want to apply them to.The adhesive pads are very strong to prevent them from falling off. If your appliances, such as a washing machine or refrigerator, or wobbly, these can be used on them to stabilize them.I have ceramic planters on small plates on some of my tables. I will buy more of these to apply to the planters so I can remove the small plate. Highly recommend.

They work to keep sofa from sliding.

I received this product to test and it does a great job of protecting my floors. My kitchen garbage can would slide and scratch my floor when I stepped on the pedal. The 3M Gripping Pads are so slim you can’t even see they are now on the bottom of the can protecting my wood floor and keeping the can in place. Wish I had them in the past.

The rubber part of this skid pad is a little on the thinner side. The adhesive backing is very weak.

These are nice sized stick on rubber feet for under our recliner chairs. They do not slide on our vinyl floor
