I was concerned by folks having problems with the alignment of the plate, but I think they may have bought the angle version by mistake. All 4 of the plates I used were straight and perfectly threaded. Great fit for the H&P Turnings Bun Feet. Made a desk / microwave cabinet and couldn’t be happier!

These were so quick and easy to install. Worked really well with my Swedish flat-pack shelving to add legs for more vertical storage space. Instant gratification, made a new, stylish, functional piece of furniture out of a simple cube unit!

The weld from plate to screw is weak point could be improved wit weld.

We used these to attach legs to a kitchen island. Good quality plate and screws.

Worked exactly as needed.

I bought two today for a project and neither one screwed on straight. Will be returning tomorrow. Glad I tried it out before screwing them on my furniture piece.

This isn’t deep enough for the screw on the leg you sold with this.

Some complain about these being too weak for their application, What may work better for you is to design your project around T-Nuts, you can get these with the SAME type treads as these plates. See 5/16in-18×3/8in part number 802311 at the other big box store

They should work for my project.

This item makes it so much easier attaching the legs to a table I made from a piece of plywood. Take care to order “Straight” vs “Slanted” (the latter makes the legs pointed outward; whereas, the “straight” projects the legs at a right angle to the table top…the legs are pointed straight down from the table top.

The threading piece is a separate piece soldered onto the metal plate and the legs pop off with the threaded piece if the soldering is done poorly (as in the case of two of my metal plates).

The thickness of the sheet metal is insufficient for anything that can be subjected to lateral forces or extreme weight.
Used to repair an ottoman (round legs of same diameter as the circle of the bracket ) that had been leaned while sat upon by a 150 pound person. Old brackets were of this type and were mangled and the welded-in nuts were broken away. I would hope that these would be ok for a sofa with short & thick legs, but forget about anything bearing any weight that can be easily leaned or flipped. The ottoman will be ok with these if not used as a stool.

These have a nut lightly welded into the center of a piece of thin sheet metal. If the legs of your furnture are subject to any lateral force, either the plate will bend or the nut will snap free of the plate. I used these on a sofa with 6 inch legs, and two of the four failed within hours. If the legs on your furniture are VERY short, you might get away with using these. I bought heavier plates elsewhere that are a single piece with a threaded hole through the center.

I decided to build a bench and use this as the hardware that would attach the table legs and it was a total failure. I only managed to get 1 of 4 table legs to screw into the hardware. I was 90% finished and right when I was ready to complete the project, I found that the thread was getting deformed as I tried to screw in the legs. I personally do not like to leave negative reviews but I wanted to warn anyone that tried to use this product.

I used these with the 4-1/2 inch Classic Bun Feet wood table legs.
My problem is that this brand (the only one who apparently makes these) doesn’t make a flat, flush plate. So there is a gap between the foot and the table legs they are attached to.
If you look at the photo I’m including with this review, you can see the gaps between the bun feet and the table.

Broke the moment it was pushed against. Not even worth buying again.

I purchased several of these plates and all of them had traces of rust on the top part where you screw your leg in (see pic). The problem is the packaging conceals this part so you can’t check for rust unless you open the package. I contacted Waddell about it and never got a response. Terrible quality control… don’t recommend.

Easy to install and worked just perfect.

Although these are very strong and work well for things I have used them for in the past, one of the four I bought this time was apparently packaged wrong. Instead of being straight, it put the leg at an angle. Not sure if this was a manufacturing defect or just a packaging problem. Had to drive back to the store. I’ve since bought 8 more but am waiting on the wooden legs to come in to install them. Hopefully this was just a one-time thing. The exchange itself was easy as usual at .

Used these on my home made ottoman. All broke within 6 months. I will not be buying this product again. I will be sticking with wood mounts or inserts.
