Inventory very limited, had to buy these plugs. I really wanted rubber end covers to slide over the ends of chair leg.

Have to cut off ribs to make them fit. Brown plastic seems too soft for a chair glide.

These black plastic caps fit perfectly in a metal lamp that was missing caps. They are not going to come out either as they fit snugly and look better than the original caps.

The actual size of the plastic guide was smaller than measurement on packet. Fill right out of chair leg. Useless.

The Hillman plastic leg caps are a great fit for metal chair legs. We were able to install the caps on round aluminum chair legs very easily, without tools.
Two issues with the Hillman caps – only two per pack, and price. I have yet to encounter a chair with only two legs, and considering most chairs have four legs, a two pack doesn’t make sense. Price – two pieces of light weight plastic should not cost half as much as these cost.
Overall, great product, great fit, not enough caps per package, very expensive.

I needed a 5/8″ tip, but the Goose Creek store only had 1/2″ and 1″. I was able to use the 1/2″ tips by building them up with masking tape.

Clarification by Tom on first review is wrong. Face of cap is more like 1” and fits maybe 7/8 I. D. Instead of 1” I.D. tube Tom stated.

Used these for end caps on some trim pieces we needed to cut off on a rebuild of a pontoon bottom. They worked great and hid the cut aluminum pieces’ ends for a more polished look.

Bought these tips for use on some old metal chairs that I refurbished into small benches. They worked perfectly to replace the old rusted tips and were easy to use just slipping right into the old frames.

These are not true 1” plugs, they are supposed to fill a 1” square hole. They fall through the 1” opening. I will have to go to Metal Mart and get the correct fit.

Fits 1″ OD or 7/8″ ID perfectly. The stool leg pictured is exactly 1″ OD, so the inside is about 7/8″. The cap fit snugly with a light palm tap.
