The instructions had the strap sticking up, above the piece of furniture you were trying to hold. I measured – twice – and attached the strap so it doesn’t show, behind the furniture. We wanted to use this to hold bookshelves that could be climbed by our 5-year old grandson who is on the Autism scale. We are pleased with the results; and so is his mom!

I anchored my 3 drawer Dresser in the spare bedroom to the wall, and anchored the wall connection to a wall stud.
We almost had a bad accident when I opened the top drawer (3 drawers) and the Dresser almost knocked me down. It was anchored, but with a plastic anchor, which broke free when the dresser load shifted.
Now it is securely anchored and will not be responsible for any accidents in the future.

Comes with both Velcro or wood screws. Directions have you screw it into a wall stud. There wasn’t one where I need to anchor mine so I used a drywall anchor which worked great. Definitely recommend this product.

Much easier to install that metal pipe tape. Easy to disconnect to move tall cabinets and re-locate. Colors hide straps on different colored furniture, Black White, Oak, and Tan.
