Size was listed as 7/8″ this was very difficult to put on to the leg of a step stool.they should have been 15/16″ to make installation easier.

It worked fixing the caps on a step ladder. The ladder legs were a little smaller than the cap, so used electric tape to increase circumference of the legs, and the caps fit snugly.

The selection at the store was very limited. I needed to replace the rubber chair leg for 4 chairs, I purchased 16 or these, I got the largest ones and when trying to install them I had to use some liquid dish soap to get these to fit and it was a VERY VERY HARD thing to do. If I ever have to replace any other chair or table rubber ends, I will go to a other home improvement store for my purchase.

Did not use these for chairs, used for a walking stick that was made for me. Has great grip on the ground and rocks while hiking.

I had a need to replace a cap for tbe bottom end of a patio umbrella post that i had loss. Had no idea what i could use as I perused the ailse of small parts looking for ideas. This tesvrd my dilemma; the cone shape allowed me to insert into the hollow post with about 1/4 of this cap out serving as the original cap to cushion against the ground.

I bought this to temporarily plug the 7/8″ OD intake for the dishwasher effluent on my garbage disposer.
I disconnected and removed my dishwasher to prepare for arrival of a new dishwasher, but and FedEx let me down on the “estimated” delivery date of essential accessories, so I couldn’t use my sink without water leaking from my now-uncovered disposer’s dishwasher drain intake.
This chair foot fit and performed perfectly as a temporary plug on the disposer until my dishwasher and all parts arrived.
