I bought a two pack this morning. I used them under my 24′ extension ladder on a slick hard wood floor while painting a room with a 20′ ceiling. The ladder never moved and I felt safe on top of it

I purchased these to stick to a textured polycarbonate rack case. The adhesive backing didn’t even hold up to a gentle finger push. If you have heavy furniture (refrigerator, dryer) weight and friction will hold these in place, but don’t buy them for project work thinking 3M has bothered with any of the dozen high- or even medium-hold backing adhesives they’re famous for. Maybe they used up all their stock on the insane packaging labels I’m always hauling out a razor blade and the Goo-gone to remove.

Recommended. This is a soft plastic, textured finish sheet with powerful glue on the back. The glue holds well and the textured plastic does not slide on the surfaces I have so far tried: Corean, marble, metal, wood and vinyl. I do recommend cleaning the surface to which it will be attached – alcohol works well if the surface will tolerate it.

Had a laminate floor installed & knew our recliners would slide on the new floor. These worked perfect! These pads did the trick. Neither chair has moved one bit.

I have wondered how well gripping pads work. So, when I received a sample of Scotch Heavy Duty Gripping Pads to try, I was excited to have the opportunity to try them.
We have a cat that sometimes likes to sleep in his smaller cat carrier. He has two cat carriers sitting on the floor side by side. The larger of the cat carriers is used specifically for Vet visits. The smaller cat carrier stays in one place for when our cat wants to sleep in it. Our cat does not like it when the cat carrier moves around on the floor, so the gripping pads seem like the ideal product to keep the carrier stationary on our tile floor. The directions and instructions are easy to understand. First you clean the surface then you adhere the sticky side of the gripping pad to the item you want to keep stationary. Your item now has the non-slip gripping pad facing towards the floor so whatever you need to keep in place is now non-slip. Another wonderful product made by Scotch 3M.

My furniture doesn’t move or slide on our wooden floors when you sit down. I no longer have to keep moving the furniture off the wall. The felt pads are no longer for me. You may or may not have to trim a little for that clean look.

Perfect for what I needed. I had put felt coasters under my couch which made it slide all over the place on the hardwood floor. Bought these and cut them to fit the sofa legs. Problem solved.

A recently installed laminate floor in the bedroom caused the bed to slide slightly on the floor when someone entered or exited the bed. I was concerned the bed post movement would scratch the floor. These pads applied to the bottom of each bed post stopped the sliding. Excellent product !

I bought these on a whim. I went to the store to get felt for the bottom of my couches that like to move on our wooden laminate floors. I didn’t even know that this product existed. I put them on the bottom of one couch, and it hasn’t moved at all. We were so used to sliding the couches to clean under them that we forgot it had the grip strips on the bottom, and we had to pick up the couch to sweep under it. Scotch makes another version of this product in circular cuts with squares cut into them. DO NOT buy that product. I ran out of these, and put those on the bottom of the other couch, within a few days they had flattened and the couch slid like it did before. Highly recommend the scotch grippy DOT pad.

3M sent me these Grippy Pads to evaluate and they couldn’t have come at a better time. I’ve had Dad’s big leather chair for a few years where I relax, read the WSJ, watch TV, etc. Lately I’ve noticed every time I sit down it slides just a bit over the rug necessitating a shove back in place every few days. Not anymore with these Grippy Pads!! I stuck them on a few days ago and the chair doesn’t shift a millimeter when I sit-down. In fact, it won’t slide outta the way when I vacuum I have to lean it up on 2 feet to get under it. These are pretty cool pads to keep your stuff stationary.

This anti-skid pad is nice for the following reasons. 1) there are two pads. 2) it can be cut to various sizes for different purpose. 3) this could be a positive or a negative reason, but it is a little thin. Again, that worked in my favor for the purpose I was using it for. I was using it as a bumper for a cabinet door. Downside is it’s over priced. That’s my only concern that is negative.
