I have been having trouble with my chairs scratching my floors. So I tried these on them and now they no longer scratch my floors, it also makes them easier to move around. Before putting these on I would have to pick my chairs up to move them, now I just push them were I want them to go.

I have tile floors and clunky wood dining chairs, not to mention a baby that wakes at the drop of a hat! These are well made, thick pads that make my very loud wooden dining chairs absolutely quiet when pulled out from the table and pushed back in. They definitely earned the “Heavy Duty” title, as they are quite a bit thicker than the standard felt furniture pads, and more sticky as well. So sticky in fact, that it took a bit to work them off the plastic! I have tried felt pads for my chairs in the past and they tend to work themselves off the legs over time, which so far has not been the case for these. I received a sample of this product to test and evaluate and give my unbiased feedback to you. This is my honest opinion of the product.

Scotch heavy felt pads, are simple to install and stay on my chairs. I put them on the chairs in our conference room when we changed to hardwood floors.The pads stay on the chair and does not move. Most of all my floors look as well as they did when we installed them. The felt pads also cuts down on the noise that moving furniture can make. I would definitely buy again. I did receive this product for free from 3M.

I received the product free from 3m and I tried it out on my dinning table and chairs. I have laminate floors so this was a huge life saver to prevent any markings on my floor. They were easy to apply and I haven’t noticed and markings on my floor ! Great product and durable !

After receiving the 3M Scotch heavy duty felt pads I tried them on my dining room table and chair immediately. I have linoleum floors and heavy furniture leaves awful marks. I love the heavy duty felt pads because they don’t leave marks on my floors. They make sliding the chairs in and out so much easier. I have two very young children and they love dragging the chairs over to the kitchen counters to watch me bake. As you can imagine that is terrible for my floors. I feel much better knowing there is a layer of protection from the felt pads to keep the chairs from scratching my floors.

I have been using the heavy duty felt pads for about a week, and I have NO complaints!! I put them on my dining room chairs to protect my hardwood floor from scratches, and they stayed on perfectly, and allow me to slide my chair in and out without the worry of creating scratches! I recommend following the instructions and cleaning the surface with rubbing alcohol prior to applying the pads, you wouldn’t believe how dirty something actually is, even though it looked clean!! Please note; 3M gave me a free sample of this product to evaluate.

I have a grandfather clock that my cat likes to slap his toys behind which then goes underneath. This clock is heavy and hard to move on a laminate floor without damage. I was looking for a product to attach to the legs that would allow me to slide it easily across the floor so I could retrieve his toys. These Scotch Heavy Duty Felt Pads did the trick. The pads are thick and the adhesive very sticky. After applying I didn’t move the clock for 24 hours to make sure the adhesive stuck and wouldn’t peel off. When I moved the clock everything thing worked wonderfully. The pads stayed attached without peeling and the clock moved smoothly across the floor. Both my cat and I are happy.

I received this product in exchange for my honest review. I used this product on a dining room table and chair. I love how quietly they glide across the tile floor now. Now more loud screeching sounds! The size was perfect fit for the table and for the front legs of the chair. The back legs are slightly smaller so they were a little big, but it is an antique chair and so I don’t think it would be a typical issue. I doesn’t bother me because it was such a small amount.

I purchased this product today and it won’t stick on my chairs! I tried to seed if there was another layer of paper to pull off to have a better adhesive, and there wasn’t!

I placed these on the bottom of some bar stools I have and so far they are working great! The adhesive on the pad is very secure. I haven’t noticed them pulling away from the stool (I’ve had that issue before) and they make it easier for the stools to slide on the tile floor. They also reduce the amount of noise heard when the stools are moved around.

I found these Felt Pads so easy to use. I particularly liked the convenient size and ease of application – a snap. I put them under several of my decorative pieces so that when I move them to dust, they don’t scratch the glass or wood. I’m going to try them on my chairs that sit on hardwood floors as they would work well there too. Of course, I trust 3M brand to always deliver as promised!
