These stick surprisingly well. The rental we are in has cheap vinyl floors that scratch so easily. And our old wooden chairs have not been easy on the floors. So we put these on. I have used other brands and they havent stayed in place as well as these have.

I received the Scotch Felt Pads to try in exchange for my review, and I love them! I put them under my chair legs because I have hardwood floors in my dining room. I was using a competitors pads, but they kept on coming off, the chairs did not move smoothly, etc. But the Scotch Felt Pads are working as well as I hoped!!! they are sticking perfectly, and the chairs move smoothly!!! Now im looking all over my house to see what else I can use these for!!! I will definitely recommend these to all my friends, and buy more!!!

I volunteer to evaluate products for 3M, and the company recently sent me a free sample of Scotch Felt Pads to protect hardwood floors. We have both hardwood floors and porcelain floors in our home, and we use them for both types of floor for all our furniture. We have purchased felt pads at home improvement stores for years, but they all shift. The 3M brand stays put for a very long time. I put these latest samples on my sofa legs in our great room.

We have had LOTS of different felt pads on our dining room chairs, including the ones with the tacks that you hammer in the bottom of the chair and have a felt pad on the bottom. The felt doesn’t last long on those and you end up replacing them frequently before that tack comes through and scratches your floors.
BUT the Scotch felt pads seemed different even when we took them out of the package. We noticed immediately that they are thicker and we even liked the square size, even for our round chair legs. . Our chairs glide over the floor and work beautifully. Great product!

Recently, 3M gave me the opportunity to try a sample of the Scotch Square Felt Pads and I couldn’t be happier with them. With three kids under 8 yrs in our household, our kitchen table and chairs get quite the beating on a daily basis and if I can cut down on just a little noise, I’ll take it! Our chairs move so much smoother and quieter, then before. The pads have held up through our toddler pushing chairs across the room (no sliding off), and held on spill after spill (…after spill.) Even my husband who didn’t know I had put the Square Felt Pads on noticed a difference. Overall, I’m really happy with the quality of the Scotch Square Felt Pads!

We received this product as a free sample from 3M, and decided to test them out on our lamp bases. The base protection that came with the lamps over time have worn off, so we cleaned up the residue and adhered these. They work as advertised, adhere well and I have no worries about our lamps scratching our wood furniture. Overall, a typically well made product from 3M that works as advertised.

Stop worrying about scratching your hardwood floors. Slap these precut cushions on the bottom of the legs of your chairs or barstools and problem solved. They stay attached but I would recommend putting weight on them for a few minutes to make sure they adhere strongly. The only issue I have found is they do attract animal hair. So if you have pets be informed. It’s not enough to be a game changer though. It can removed very easily by hand or vacuum. I just clean them when I do regular vacuuming. Great cushions and good adhesive make this a great purchase to save your floors!

These felt pads are high quality, easy to apply, and really protect my furniture and floors . They make sliding things virtually noiseless, so I know they are protecting.
I used the square felt pads to fit under a very heavy Egyptian pyramid accent.
4 pads fit perfect under the 4 corners and now I am not afraid to slide it
on my wood or glass tables. These pads are sturdy and fit tightly with the sticky back. Warning: Once you place it where you want it, it cannot be moved! The powerful backing affixes instantly, so be careful. I also like that the pads aren’t noticeable under the pyramid. I love these!

I’d bought an antique dining room set that included a buffet with a separate piece of glass to protect the top. The circular pads under the glass were deteriorating. I needed something that I could easily attach to the glass and would look nice, yet not scratch the buffet top. Scotch felt pads fit the bill. I simply scraped the old pads off with a razor blade, cleaned the glass, and pressed the new pads on. They look great, and work well with no scratching. Wonderful product.

I’m getting new flooring at my cabin the the woods, and I was looking for something to put on my kitchen chairs that would not scratch the new flooring. I tested these on a tile floor, thinking that going back and forth over the grout lines would tear them up, but I was wrong! They glide quite easily, and the grout doesn’t seem to have had any effect on them at all. As far as them saying on……the package says “Adhesives are not intended for removal” and they mean it. I put them on a metal sculpture I have, need to move it to clean around it, and I didn’t like the placement. Too bad, so sad! They are NOT moving! So, I just used a couple more.
Anyone can make a felt pad, but the fact that these stick so well, and they are not falling apart, makes these really stand out and make it worth paying a little more for SCOTCH brand.

These squares are perfect for the corners of several baskets of toys and clothes in my children’s rooms. The kids slide the wicker baskets in and out on their book shelves many times a day. I no longer have to worry about scratching the finish with every in and out of the basket. And they are super sticky so they don’t come off the rough underside of the baskets.

I use felt pads on all of my chairs and tables throughout my home on my hardwood floors. These square felt pads are perfect for my square legs. I have a bench which needed these pads, and this size worked perfectly for the bench. I find that by using these pads, my floors do not become scratched, and the furniture moves so much more easily on the floor.
When cleaning, it is very easy to slide the bench now, whereas in the past; I would lift and move the bench to clean beneath it. The SCOTCH brand is well known and a quality brand name. I have used many other products by SCOTCH, and have been very satisfied. Great product !

I got these felt pads to fix an issue with my bed headboard making a lot of noise when it moved and rubbed on the floor or the wall. The size and shape are perfect for my purpose and easy to peel and apply. I only needed six felt pads for the headboard, two on the bottom of each leg and two on the back. You can also use them on the back of any headboard to reduce noise when it hits the wall and prevents scratching. These felt pads worked wonderfully on my headboard, and now it does not produce any noise when it moves.
The adhesive is strong enough that it will surely stay in its place. The felt pads are thick enough to protect most surfaces and furniture. These can also be applied to some appliances to protect tables, countertops, and other surfaces. Before placing the pads, clean the surface for the best adhesion. Overall, great adhesiveness and thick enough pads.

I received this product free in exchange for my honest review. I hate the sound of a chair screeching across the tile floor. I just replaced the dining room chairs and was thrilled to get these to place on the legs. They glide across the floor easily, and best of all quietly! I was concerned because the surface curves slightly where the pads are placed (see photos), but they have been working great!

Had a hard time getting them to stick to bottom of chair legs – only a few out of the whole box stuck the way they should. Used a little glue for most, which worked. Pad works well if you can get it to stick.

After receiving the Scotch felt pads I was ready to give them a try on our new table and chairs in the kitchen. Easy to apply and after using them for almost 2 weeks I can say that I am very happy with this product. They have not came off and with Grandchildren sliding the chairs in and out often, the floor is protected. I would highly recommend this product.
