These casters were easy to install. They move so smoothly on our wood floors. Theyre not “stiff” or overly rigid. I only wish id bought the ones with a break, i put them on a wood dog bed i made.

Very strong and move easily. My coffee table weighs so much and is very hard for me to move it. I love rearranging furniture. I decided to try putting casters on it though I was doubtful they’d be strong enough to hold my table up. I was so wrong. I now rearrange my living room with no problem whatever. Great valuable product

I love and almost all of the products that I’ve purchased over the years have received high scores, but this isn’t one of them. I recently built a wooden storage cart for my wife to be stored in a rather tight fitting closet. I used these casters thinking that because they fully rotate and have rubber wheels, it would be easy to navigate into the closet. Not only could I not easily steer it into the tight closet, it wouldn’t even steer correctly when out on the open floor. I decided to buy a highly rated set of 4 on Amaxon for half the price and it made a world of difference. The new ones are fantastic! And only $15 for 4. Also, each caster has a locking mechanism, which the Shepherd Hardware casters did not. I couldn’t be happier with my new ones. Very disappointed with the ones I purchased from – and definitely wouldn’t recommend them.
