Installed these on the bottom of a wooden chest to roll on industrial carpet in our finished basement. Chest is used as a coffee table and storage of board games; at most 100lbs total and on 4 casters. One of these broke within the first two weeks of use while pushing the chest away from the couch. Poor design to have such a thin center on plastic wheels.

I.Morales: Believe it or not, I just needed the wheel, not the assembly. I have an exercise machine that has wheels for easy moving. One of the wheels broke & fell apart. I needed a replacement wheel. However, the exercise machine company does not sell the wheel. I was not able to find the wheel itself offered by anyone. I hit upon the idea of using a caster wheel after looking at my desk chair. had the right size wheel on a caster assembly. I cut the caster axle, removed the wheel & applied it to the exercise machine. Perfect fit. Now, I can move the machine with ease.
