I did not read the package thoroughly when I purchased this item. It’s only for normally stationary furniture, not an appropriate glide for dining chairs, which is what I wanted. Otherwise it seems like it would be simple to install and is of decent quality.

I use these on bottom of wood chairs to slide better on tile floor. The padding wears down and the metal scratches the tile after 2 years of use; so they do have to be changed periodically.

Just placed laminate flooring and the heavy furniture would scratch the flooring so placing these non-swivel glides has made life so much easier. No scratches and furniture is moved easily. they were easy to place, just hammer them into the bottom of the furniture.

These padded glides do not move well on tile floors. The low-profile nylon glide that I replaced would have been much better, but only carries softer plastic glides. I thought I would try these, but now I will return them. Thanks to for a great return policy.

These work way better for furniture than the adhesive furniture slides. Wish I would have found these first before I wasted my money on the adhesive type that did not hold long at all.

I initially purchased the adhesive type which worked well for a table, but the adhesive felt pads kept coming off the chairs because of how often they are moved. If you have the same frustration with adhesive felt pads, then purchase this product. No scratches on my floor and they stay where you put them. Don’t forget to drill a tiny hole first to keep it from splitting the chair legs.

These are not intended for chairs but I have them on all of my chairs and they are ten times better than anything i have tried before. I live in a 113 year old home with many of the original floors which means the floors are not even. The plastic gliders would get caught on the wood and pieces would fall out which of course meant they were not perfectly smooth to glide so they scratched my floor. I tried the stick on pads and those tore right off. These are great because the cloth part is secure in place and doesn’t come flying off every time we move a chair.
