The rubber coating on the wheels (3 of 4) shredded within a year. Rack was well under weight limit and floor surface was smooth concrete (garage).
The reason for more than 1 star is that 2nd set of same wheels under same conditions have not split and shred…yet.

It’s not really the wheels that fail! It’s the threaded plug that the wheels thread into. Installed into 5 tier wire racks. I loaded the racks and barely moved them. had to relocate. Thought great, everything is on rolling racks! Well, that was wrong! ramp was level when moving truck was loaded, but the ramp was angled and the wheels started bending out on the angled ramp while unloading. 6 of 13 racks had collapsed wheels when done. All were carrying vintage electronics! We barely saved the first couple racks from total catastrophe! I’ll soon post a video on YouTube on how to replace the short plug with a 3 inch insert that won’t bend out!

Searched around for quite a while to find a caster for our shelving unit. Purchased twice and returned twice wheels of wrong size. Buying online is mostly guesswork and hope. However, much to our delight we came across this item on website. What clinched the purchase was the fact there were four at a reasonable cost, and there were descriptive videos. We were able to view these casters being installed on a shelving unit just like ours. Thank you, , for being so helpful. BTW, the casters are installed and look and work fine.

Wheels roll easily, adjustment wrench is supplied, chrome finish is excellent . Price was fair & much more cost efficient than building it myself. Wheels do not lock very well & locks should lock n opposite position but ok for the price.
